Transfer Student Credit Criteria
Do you have test or transfer credit from another school? You may use these to earn a maximum of 50 percent of the credit required for a credential from LDS Business College.
Test credits include: Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), College Level Examination Program (CLEP) and course challenge examinations. These scores will need to be on official transcripts.
Transfer credits (with grades of C- or better) earned at other regionally accredited colleges or universities and are usually accepted. These credits must meet the general education requirements of LDS Business College. Other credits will be accepted based on their relevance to specific degree program requirements. Your cumulative grade-point average will only be based on course work completed at the College.
If you are a U.S. transfer student applying with fewer than 30 semester or 45 quarter hours of post-high school college credit, you’ll follow the same application requirements as new freshmen. Applicants with 30 semester or 45 quarter hours or more of college credit should complete and submit the following:
Parts 1–4 and Part 7 of the Application for Admissions and Scholarship
A $35 non-refundable application fee
Official transcripts from each college or university attended or attending
All application materials must be received at least ten days before the semester begins.
Students with transcripts from institutions outside of the United States may be given credit on a case-by-case basis.
