WHERE SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS COME FROM:
It will benefit you to know that most of the scholarships offered at LDS Business College do not come from large corporations or wealthy foundations. They don’t come from government funds or even from LDS Business College itself in most cases. The majority of the time, scholarship funds come from hard working families or individuals, many of whom got an education at great personal sacrifice, and saved and worked over a lifetime. Many of them never thought they would be in a position to make such gift. But over long years of saving and work, or sometimes because of a tragedy in their life, or something hard that they have overcome, they want to sacrifice and give to likewise help someone else in a time of need. We invite you to write your thank you letter with this in mind. You have a great opportunity now to help someone who would love to hear from you, to know how their life and sacrifices will help to make a difference in your life.
