LDSBC Financial Aid Guide

Maximum Hours by Major

Satisfactory Academic Progress policy states that a student receiving financial aid (federal grants and loans) must complete his/her degree within 150% of the credits required for the degree. This chart shows a list of majors, required hours in order to graduate, and the maximum hours a student may take before being disqualified from receiving financial aid. Please note that a student may be disqualified from receiving financial aid at the time the Financial Aid Office determines the student cannot complete his/her degree within the 150% limit. This means students may be disqualified before they actually reach the Max Hours limit.
