Get a glimpse of your first semester at LDSBC. Orientation provides essential training and networking, connects you with your program/major, and teaches you about the College and its mission.

Dates & Times

Friday, April 19, 2019

8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Formal orientation events take place from 9:30-2:30. Be sure to check-in upon your arrival. Check-in will be available as early as 8:00 a.m.

 

Saturday, April 20, 2019

8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

College services will be open Saturday for new and returning students to take care of last-minute details such as paying fees, purchasing books, registering for classes.

Orientation Blitz

8:00-9:30 a.m.

Students will be guided throughout the campus to where different services will be set up to help them prepare for the first day.

Welcome Devotional 11:15 a.m.– 12:15 p.m.

Welcome Devotional with President and Sister Kusch 

*Held in the Little Theater of the LDS Conference Center near Temple Square.  

Student Involvement Fair 12:30 p.m.–2: 30 p.m.

Lunch is provided back on campus on the main floor. Come mingle with other students, become familiar with services, and learn how you can become involved.  

International Student Breakout Session 1:30 p.m.– 2:30 p.m.

This meeting is mandatory for new International students. Important information will be provided regarding available resources, how to stay in status, and more.

Please meet in room 501.

   

*If you are unable to attend on Friday, campus services will be open on Saturday, April 20, 8:00 am till Noon.
