Born and raised on Long Island, New York, Levi Ostler never planned to attend LDS Business College. The closest he had been to the school was as a missionary serving in the Salt Lake City Spanish speaking mission. Levi promised an investigator that he would fly back to Utah after his mission if the investigator joined the Church.

Nacha looks to faith and family after losses

“Nacha, I need you to promise me something,” said his mother. Nacha turned to her and said, “Of course. But do not worry. You are going to be fine.”

Ignoring his words, his mother told Nacha, “Promise me that when you go on your mission, you will serve with all of your heart, that even when things get difficult you will never complain.” Those were her last words to him. She passed away the next morning.
