A few months ago, I was talking to a friend who was new to the college. She asked me for some advice she could use to enjoy her BC experience to the fullest. Here I list six things I wish everyone knew when they came to the College whether it was their very first time at the college or if they have studied here a couple semesters.
President Thomas S. Monson gave counsel to members of the church to “Pursue your education and learn marketable skills so you are prepared to provide.” Sometimes it feels that there are so many skills necessary to become self-reliant, a lifelong learner and a provider for our families.
Lots of people struggle to support their family and find a job that will help them be self-reliant in their future. The Corporate Connect program at LDS Business College was created to help people in just this circumstance.
Nervousness, excitement, enjoyment-there are so many emotions that come with the first day of school! New Student Orientation at LDS Business College introduces you to the school and the place that will help you become better and bring out what makes you unique!
A unique factor and one of the many reasons students come to LDS Business College is because of the spirit that is felt on campus. The spirit that many returned missionaries are striving to keep in their lives.
Myth:Returned Missionaries think that they can’t be as spiritual as they were on their mission.
False. There are so many ways that you can continue to stay spiritual and further strengthen your relationship with the Lord. Many missionaries feel strange coming home from their missions. Though things may be different, they don’t have to be any less spiritual.
Save money by attending school for two years instead of four, get classes that focus on career skills and learn by the spirit everyday. Better yet, It’s an education specifically for you! Find out why LDS Business College is the place for you.
